1.BERMUDA TRIANGLE is a triangular shape on the ATLANTIC OCEAN which stretches  from FLORIDA to PUERTO RICO and finally to BERMUDA in the North covering more than 50,000 sq. miles where many planes and ships have disappeared Mysteriously.

2.The BERMUDA TRIANGLE was first discovered by CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS when he was on his voyage to discover THE NEW WORLD. He stated that his compass stopped working and he saw a Mysterious ball of fire to descend in the water.This was latter explained by many people that he might have encountered an Meteoroid .

3.Later in the year 1945, 5 US NAVY  TORBIDO PLANES was on its routine mission and it was flying over the ATLANTIC OCEAN.It started its journey at the FORT LAUDERDALE,FLORIDA when the weather was absolutely clear.This mission was supposed to be of 3 hours and it had a crew of 14 members.This mission was called the FLIGHT 19.LT.CHARLES CAROLL TAYLOR was the chief of this mission.Within a few hours, the chief reported that their compass stopped working and ordered all its crew to turn to the east.But suddenly all the planes disappeared.A few days later a MARINER aircraft was send to rescue the planes but this aircraft also disappeared with a crew of 13 members.The place where all the planes disappeared was believed to be the BERMUDA TRIANGLE.

4.The BERMUDA TRIANGLE was previously known as the SEA OF DOOM , THE ATLANTIC GRAVEYARD and so on. But the word BERMUDA TRIANGLE was coined by VINCENT HAYES GADDIS in an article named "THE DEADLY BERMUDA TRIANGLE" in around 1960.

5.In the year 1918,the biggest ship of the US Navy , USS CYCLOPS was carrying 1000 tones of manganese and around 380 people from The USA to BRAZIL."The weather was fine,all well" was stated by this ship in its first and last message.Then it suddenly disappeared.It is believed that this ship got lost in  the BERMUDA TRIANGLE.

6.In the year 1881,a British ship named ELLEN AUSTIN was travelling from LONDON to NEW YORK.But about in the the middle of the journey,this ship saw an unidentified ship in the water which was full of goods.But interestingly this ship didn't had any crew.So the captain of ELLEN AUSTIN decided to send some of its crew members to this ship and he made it sail together.Soon in their way a storm came and changed the course of that unidentified ship.After a few days the captain saw that ship again but mysteriously, the crew of that ship was again lost.The place where the ship got lost is believed to be as the BERMUDA TRIANGLE.When the owner of ELLEN AUSTIN heard this story, he was so frightened that he sold the ship to an  GERMAN company which renamed it as META.But this incident is thought to be as an URBAN LEGEND as no proof of this incident is to be found.

7.A scientific explanation that is given for the mysteries of the BERMUDA TRIANGLE are the shifting of the AGONIC LINES.These are a kind of lines where a compass shows the magnetic NORTH POLE and the magnetic SOUTH POLE in the same point.These line are on or near the BERMUDA TRIANGLE for the last 200 to 300 years.

8.Another scientific explanation is that this area is highly prone to hurricanes for which many ships may get lost in the ocean.

9.Another scientific explanation suggests that there may be large fields of METHEN HYDRATES under water in the BERMUDA TRIANGLE region that decreases the density of the water making any boat or ship over this area sink in water.
